Brett Michaels circa 1987

This is a portrait I did of Brett Michaels for a high school art project around 1987 - the height of Poison's popularity. ^_^ I was a huge fan of theirs from the get go and a glam girl all the way. lol

If I remember right I had actually completed the previous project (Carlos Santana) so fast that they instructor had to come up with something for me to do - so she had me partially move on to the next project (dying and working with paper) and partially do another variation of the current project that everyone else was still working on (portraits) so voila! lol

Hand dyed posterboard in a highly diluted mix of green dye and water then dried, then topographical sketch done of Brett with pencil first then traced with black Sharpie.
