Minervina I

I designed and sewed this cap - it's the third evolution of the patrol cap style hat I've been trying to make, and it's the closest to what I want. I few more tweaks of the pattern and I'll have it, but I really still like how this one turned out, especially the applique. Sadly, it is just a smidge too tight on me... but it wall fit some happy girl (or boy) with a smaller head very nicely. FOR SALE!

The hat fabric is canvas with some heaving fusable craft interfacing for the brim. The own applique is made from a vintage 70's (I think) velvet, and the eyes are made of an old cheesy gold lame tablecloth and some dark brown buttons. ^_^
