A mini-messenger bag that I made for my friend Seventy, who was just featured in Inked magazine. ^_^ That's her in the picture!
It is heavy black denim on the outside and a vintage 50's or 60's fabric with tiny, raised white polka dots on aqua. It has an applique on the front flap of the ancient symbol for Hathor and later the symbol for Isis; which is the horns and sun disc. On the inside of that flap is an applique in the same aqua material of a scarab pushing the sun disc across the sky.
Unfortunately I only have two pictures of this bag at this time, but I am hoping to get some more.
I create all of my own purse templates, and I like to use bold fabrics and color combinations. Some of the purses listed in my gallery are currently for sale, but I can also do custom work - so if you see something you like but want it in your style or have something else in particular in mind, contact me and we can absolutely work it out. I have an extensive inventory of varied fabrics, handles/straps, sparkles & baubles, and I can also find fabrics with just about any theme that you can imagine. Ask me! <3
Yeah, she's pretty hawt. She worked for Betsy Johnson in NY, and now she's getting ready to move to LA and work for some friend, I think - she's the most amazing hairdresser I have ever freaking known. And she is also possibly the clumsiest person, as well. She will usually injure you in some way during a hair cut, and she recently tripped over her own feet and broke one of them. Yeah, she's pretty awesome. lol
