The Violet Baby Bag

***~NOT FOR SALE~*** it was a gift ^_^

This bag (and a bath set) was a gift for my friend Randa's little sister Jen, who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Rachel. It is a very small baby bag for short trips, like out to dinner or to the store, and it is lined with flannel and also has a large pocket inside made of flannel to hopefully keep the bottle warm or cold. The outside has a pocket for mom's keys and stuff, and the fabrics reflect the jungle animal theme chosen for the baby, while the strap and whimsical style represent her mama's very sweet free spirit. And yes, it is indeed washable.

Fun fact: The bag is called "The Violet" because that was a family name & the original name Jen & Cedar had picked out for the baby. After I made the template it was changed to Rachel, but my bag was already named. Tee hee!

I create all of my own purse templates, and I like to use bold fabrics and color combinations.
